A couple blocks from a blue-line el stop, this "rather upscale" hotel is across from the Rosemont convention center and a few minutes from O'Hare; it makes a "solid stay" for business travelers, but sightseers or families with cars may want somewhere with "cheaper", less "complicated" parking" (it's $11 to self-park); rooms are "big, beautifully decorated" and "comfortable", with Sweet Dreams beds and "huge showers" in the "spacious" bathrooms.

Looked very pretty.
No microwave anywhere in hotel, and had to pay $20 a day for parking which was absurd!
I never had to pay for parking anywhere I've stayed, specially $20 dollars per day, which is a lot of money.
I will not recommend Double Tree to anyone.

Steakhouse attached to lobby was excellent.
Hotel is clean with responsive staff and good service as well as nice restaurant facilities especially Gibson's steakhouse.

We loved the TV and set-up of the room (bed was comfy!) and Gibson's steakhouse.
The air conditioning in our room did not work correctly and the TV remote was missing.
The hotel was perfect for what we needed.
A great, comfy room that was close to food and entertainment. We ran into a few questionable guests while waiting for the elevator, and the hallways had an interesting smell, but overall, we really like it. ...read more
